Linking up with Ashley and Neely for the Sunday Social
Today is all about Autumn (Fall) which I have definitely noticed is here! It's all about what I love Autumn.
Weather
I love the weather. I love crisp Autumn mornings - beautiful sunrises and blue skies.
I quite like misty mornings too... the common vanishing into nothingness and buildings disappearing into the sky.
I don't even mind the rain; as long as I'm on the right side of the window! I like the sound of it falling; I like to sit in the back door and watch it fall.
GARDEN
The riot of colour of the summer is going; but Autumn brings new delights to the garden.
I love the dew that stays on the plants and grass until the sun burns it away.
I love that even thought the trees are shedding their leaves there is still new life in the plants. My rose is budding again, my fuchsia is still growing and the geraniums are still flowering.
CLOTHES
I love the cooler weather (summer and heat do not agree with my MS). I'd rather be cold and wrap up warm. After hating my winter coat pretty much since I bought it (it was the only smart one I could find) I have decided that it is shabby enough to replace.

HALLOWEEN
Not really a big festival in the UK I always love to carve my pumpkins. You get what are probably really the reject ones (there is no flesh to eat on them) for a couple of quid. Happily they always have plenty of seeds for roasting!

SPORTS
All sports collide. Baseball comes to the season climax with the Fall Classic, a.k.a the World Series. NFL and College Football start up again and the football in the UK is in full swing!
Maybe one of my teams will even win something - since I started watching American sports the Yankees have won 3 world series (1999, 2000 and 2009) and the Giants have won 2 Super Bowls (2008 and 2011).
