Wembley Stadium (subtitle 'the home of English Football'). Opened in 2007 on the site of the old stadium built in 1923 and used for 80 years. The old stadium (see below) had two iconic towers - but the arch of the new stadium is visible from far and wide (I have seen it from my cousin's house in New Cross and the Emirates Air Line). If you want to visit the ground it is a trek along the Jubilee Line or a slightly faster trip on the Metropolitan line to North London.
