Pageantry alert!

Tomorrow the City of London will be celebrating the annual election of the new Lord Mayor - this year the Lord Mayor is Fiona Woolf a member of the Worshipful Company of Solicitors. She is the first woman to hold the office since Dame Mary Donaldson in 1983. Even though she is female she is still the Lord Mayor of London not the Lady Mayoress.
