Things to do in London (1)

Now that all the small children I know are getting older it is time for days out... and sometimes I am lucky enough to be asked along. I had such a day last Friday when my cousin and her daughter (who for simplicity rather than my first cousin once removed I call my niece) invited me along to the Surrey Docks Farm with them.

I pass nearby most mornings on my way to work, and have lived in this corner of London for over a decade... but I never knew it was there!

It is a real working farm, tucked away in a residential corner of Deptford/Bermondsey/Rotherhithe. You can walk up to the Thames Walk nearby, and from some spots you can even see Canary Wharf!
