Excuse my schooldays, and remember - they were a longtime ago, next year I'll be 40!

1. What was your biggest middle school fashion mistake? 

Where do I start? My hair changed length and colour! I also was immensely insecure about my body so had a terrible habit of wearing oversized T-shirts.

2. Who were your best friends in high school? Pics? 

My best friends in High School (Senior School?) I'm still friends with today. At my wedding one of them was a bridemaid, one of them did a reading, one of them sang during the register signing... and all the others were there!

3. What was a typical weekend like for you in high school? 

Hanging around at home, reading books, doing homework on the side... occasionally going on an evening out... having friends over for our drama club... choir practice and church.

4. Did you have any boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about that. 

Right in my last days of school, I did go out with a boy for about 4 or 5 months. We met at the 18th birthday party of some schoolmates at a nightclub. We had nothing at all in common, I once asked him why he had asked me out and he said "To see what you'd say". There were a few passing dalliances with boys whose names I have mostly forgotten! I was never very good at dating.

5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill your secrets! 

Not that I can remember, no. How dull.

6. If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be? 

I'm not sure I would. I hated school on a social level. I found interacting with people (apart from really close friends) very difficult. I spent most of my lunch breaks in the 'Animal House' where they bred mice and rats for science class (which we tried not to think about) and also kept other pets (Ebony the rabbit, Ginger the guinea pig, gerbils, hamsters, birds and a terrapin). Some of the best bits of school were spent there.
