Another year older

This morning my mother rang me whilst I was on my way to work (lucky it wasn't a weekend, as she does this every year) at 7:30 to tell me that I was officially another year older.

I don't know if it is because I'm getting older or more forgetful (or both!) but I had actually forgotten (until the end of last week) my birthday was even coming up. This is even more ridiculous because I share a birthday with one of my God-daughters whose birthday I remembered!!!
